Taxes in Italy? Oh my Gosh!
PWC published a new report on taxation in 2013: italian total tax rate, you can check it at page 97, is an incredible 68.3%! The mean in European Union and EFTA (European Free Trade Association) is 42,6%.
On table n.1 you see data about the overall ranking: Italy is 131st on 185 countries.
Best data come from table n.4: excepting Kyrgyz, Brazil, Algeria, Guinea, Colombia, Palau, Bolivia, Eritrea, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Comoros, Gambia, Congo businessmen have 170 countries where they can pay less taxes than Italy.
Is it worth for businesses to remain and operate in Italy? Is it worth for foreign businesses to establish industries and provide jobs in Italy? You don’t need my answer.
